    Sika Hunting Boots by evolve

Hunting & Fishing have got Evolve Sika hunting boots for $99 - im interested to hear if Any one has got, used / rate these boots ?

Ive got some lowa rangers, they fantastic and reliable, however I was thinking these sika boots might be good for days hunts / short over night trips etc, they seem nice and light. I suppose at the end of the day you get what ya pay for !!

    Cheers

I havent had any experience with them but if you like them, get them. I reckon a crappy pair can be just as comfortable etc they just wont last as long. I wore through two pairs of cheap synthetic kathmandu boots. I liked them as they were comfortable, light and pretty quiet. They couldnt handle go hunting as much as I have been the last year but for little day missions they wouldve made good boots.

Ive never had any luck with cheap boots, 1st ones looked great were comfortable but lasted a bout 4 hours in the Ureweras on their 1st trip, feet were in bad shape after that !
2nd pair lasted six months so I shelled out for some expensive boots. These have lasted well, are quiet and light enough for good quality ones but I must admit I have to wear band aids on one heel other wise I get blisters even after lots of trips !

My $100 trekkas lasted ages, still got em. They'll be used until they fall to bits.

Check they fit width wise. I was taken by a cheap Kathmandu pair, and blew out the sides long before the rest of them were ready to go. My mistake. Do it once, do it right, good boots, fitting properly will last and give u ur moneys worth. I confess I'd looked at them too.

i recall a member on here previously has said if they look like sneakers, they are sneakers, and will wear accordingly.

I handled them yesterday thought they were light and very flexible so should suit bush hunting. I did consider trying some on, but in reality I don't bush hunt much know a days.
And I need to replace a pair of Lowas now

I have a pair of these boots. The first pair i had fell apart only after a short time. Have had the replacements for a while now and they have stood up to a fair bit of punishment. The boots are very comfortable but they are very light weight, the soles are soft which makes them good in the bush. But when walking on rock and stone it can be a little hard on the feet. For the price i am happy with mine.
