I paid $4 for my plastic spork. Turned out to be a pack of 4
Thing I love about my jetboil is you turn it on, heat the water and then drink your tea/coffee/cuppa soup etc straight from it. Acts as a thermos as well.

I have a small fold up kovea that I have had for 30 or so years and a TI pot with frypan lid that just fits a gas can and the cooker in, I have no idea what any of it weighs but it is not much.
I have been using a MSR pocket rocket & alloy pot for the last few years which works well enough provided you keep it out of the wind and don't leave the canister out in the snow!
I had been thinking about getting a fastboil type stove for a while and in the end splurged on a 1L MSR reactor (still quite spendy on sale). Not a featherweight, but hell it boils water quickly and is very economical on fuel; I figure fuel weight is a significant component of your cooking system weight so going for a super efficient unit makes sense. Very happy with it so far; although not as versitile as my other set up as it only really boils water
