    The Fortner action is very neat and uses ball locking just like some air fittings, etc. Flicking the bolt handle rearwards with the trigger finger withdraws the balls and the bolt opens, flicking the handle forward with thumb closes the bolt and extends the locking balls. Neat, smooth, and expensive!
