    I'll make you a turret label and then you can ditch the ballistics app (depending how far you shoot and change in conditions ).

    Aux battery pack

    What about a biolitestove that uses the fire to generate electricity so you can have a cuppa and charge your device at the same time...

    I've mucked around with solar chargers and cheap battery packs, just got this;

    Waterproof 10,400mAh Portable Rechargeable Power Bank | Lithium Rechargeable | Storage/Batteries | Power Products Electrical | PRODUCTS | MB3728 | Jaycar Electronics New Zealand

    Charged my iPhone 6s four times, it's half used. It's the ducks nuts so far...

    What do you guys need a cellphone for in the bush? I dont switch mine on till i get back to the car.

    Weve got an enerplex solar panel which is flexy and can be tied to your pack, and i bought dad the Enerplex battery pack which can charge AAA or AA which will do for the GPS and headlamp batteries.

    In bright sunlight it will charge as fast as the appropriate wall socket

    Long range shooters use ballistic apps on smart phones.

    Heath, did you sort out a system for charging AA and AAA yet?

    I have finally found a neat little 2 bay charger that can do ni-mh AA and AAA as well as li-ion 18650's. And it runs off 5v so can be powered by my li-ion battery bank or fold out 5v 20w solar panel.
