    Stock Packs

    Hey team,

Curious to know if stock packs are worth the effort or if it's a waste of time and just something else to get snagged on trees.

Primarily, I'm looking at the bushbuck one as it has a built in cheek riser and my 1st priority is improving my rifle fit.

For a cheek riser, I have used ex bedroll foam to build up the required height. Hold it in place with medical strapping tape then the stretchy low stick stuff over top.
It looked very agricultural but worked a charm.

I used a TwinNeedle one, take it off unless its purely a tops trip as got a bit annoying for me in tighter bush

Been thinking of making one a sleeve from an old wetsuit and some padding to suit

Mate did this exact thing on his Tikka T3. Works well - raised rifle butt for a better fit, and stopped the hollow sound when a twig hits his stock.
