Thread size for Suppresor ?

Hi guys, I just got a couple of DPT .35cal suppressor's, one for my coming .350 Legend & one for my 9.3X62, both these are 1/2-28, one MK 1 & one MKII

I found I could screw all the .35 & one S/S .375 baffles on my 14/1 from my 30/06, giving me two over barrels, as one was a Can !

My question is I have been told not to thread Sako - Tikka's with a 1/2-28 or 1/2-20 as it could be a problem (I was buying a .30 DPT Magnum rated S/S baffled over barrel with the 1/2-20 thread at a bargain price, when the guy at the shop selling it told me this ?)

So is it a plan to thread the 9.3X62 for the Frankenstein .35 cal over barrel supp, rather than the 1/2-28 ?

If not a problem ill race back & buy the Magnum DPT lol !
