    UHF radio repair

    Hi guys,

Anyone familiar with uniden radios? I have a pair of these one works fine but the other receives okay just won't transmit. They are an older model so not sure if possible. My wife and I wanted a way to keep in touch when we are in the Bush with the kids so before I look at replacing these I thought I might try have them repaired.

Go through the manual for them and troubleshoot, as Mimms says you may have bumped a button and changed a setting.
Failing that a repair may be possible,
Give Blenheim Electric House a call, they may be able to look at it, they may advise you it is uneconomical to repair if it is faulty.

..maybe you can put them back to factory setting?
Anyway here is a manual in case you don't have one.

Or you can stay within 300 yards and keep life a lot simpler.
