    Yeah I've been doing the same thing. The other day I did an online search for pouches like the back country mash spud comes in which you can buy.
    I reacon these would work well.

    Ive used that method with ziplock bags, caution though some don't like the boiling water and melt

    I make up most of my own as don't like most of the dehy pouches
