    Waterproof hunting coat?

I have tried many.Any thoughts on what is the best? And it seems all are trying to compete with designs etc.
Price is the next factor.Have just purchased one and kept dry in the last few wet days. Not letting on the brand yet cause I have tried so many. Whats your members opinion?

Waterproof is not that hard to find but waterproof and breathable is a bit harder. Depends what you want. Hard to beat Gortex.

Real guns start with the number 3 or bigger and make two holes, one in and one out

I have a Hunters Element XTR - its my second H?E jacket

The 1st was sold to me as a breathable one, turned out it wasnt and I got the shits with the shop and H/E big time.

Went into same shop (new owners) to buy a new jacket and wanted to buy anything BUT a H/E
They gave their honest opinion of all the brands and guaranteed I wouldnt be sorry buying the XTR.

Pretty happy with it... the underarm zips are a MUST - can go from cooking to comfortable it 2 secs - I usually wear too much gear so vents are deff needed

I got a ridgeline jacket a few years ago as a hunting/farm jacket. It wasn't overly waterproof (I got wet shoulders) and the zip ended up ripping away from the jacket. I ended up buying a swazi wapiti coat it's only had one season but it's been great.
