Thread: Waterproof Jacket - Ridgeline Monsoon vs Swazi Tahr/Kagoule

I have a thar XP and prior to that the stoney creek version but in my opinion all they are is a good wind proof garment as they hold water and just become a very damp if not wet article of clothing.

If you want a rain jacket, get a dedicated rain jacket as these aren’t, I bought a milsurp gortex rain jacket and that’s been awesome, even bought a pair of over trousers and I’ve stayed dry.

The Swazi Torrent is on special atm from $439-$299 , I dont know much about them but I'm sure others will be able to tell you more
