About LinkBacksSwazi One Tough Mother or derivative is a NZ length shell raincoat that will keep you dry and breathe.
You must layer under under any shell type jacket for warmth.
I also have a Sitka Stormfront shell jacket, more technical than the Swazi OTM, with more zips, so potential for failure or a leak, but is lighter to have as a backup in the day pack.
This stuff isn't cheap, but the right gear can save lives.
Most of the stuff in hunting stores is just a joke.
