try gamebore 2 3/4 inch 30 gram steel it comes in 2,3,4. now high velocity and lots of people i know love it
with tungsten are you looking at tungsten iron or tungsten matrix??
your other option ofcourse is 12 to 16 or 20 gauge inserts.
ive come to the opinion that the 20 is not a novices duck gun

All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

thank you All...you guys are so neat for sharing your knowledge...shooting gamebirds to me is mostly about my dogs so I have never studied ballistics as perhaps I should have...

i dont want to belabour the point but lets not forget the difference. kent tungsten matrix can be used in any gun without dire consequences as long as the correct chamber length is used.
tungsten iron cannot and even modified choke maybe to tight. its generally 3 inch the stuff ive seen but its hard as shit and i wouldnt risk it if abvailable in 2 3/4 or heavyshot for that matter in tight chokes
    .
And no bloody black pudding either Old Bastard
black pudding lambs heart, bacon, kidney and even lambs fry in just about any combination is tasty.you young fellas dont know what your missing
. 1st steel season I bought win dryloc steel and wasn't hitting jack ,
same nailed geese good o but couldnt hit a duck to save myself .
tho i tend to believe it was i bought the steel 2,s for ducks line and when using american loads i was actually shooting 1,s
