About LinkBacksPheasant are a tough ask for a dog that’s never been on them. Try and get your dog to cross backwards and fords in front of you as you walk forward left right left right. No more that 10 yards. It take lots of practice to get them working like that.
Pays off. And is worth it. You nearly need someone else to shoot while you run the dog.
You and do it on a whistle. Had The Dude turning on 2 peeps.
