    Blind/Black Trout

    I spotted this trout today,
    he wouldnt take my nymph so i got closer & saw that it was blind,
    it had red eyes with pale pupils,
    the poor bugger

    I got a black one once and it tasted great
    Don't think the 1 I caught was blind as he hit the lure and fought like fuck

    You should of caught that bugger
    Thats a good vid did you film with your polaroids over the lens?
    I took two photos of a big trout today but the glare made it invisable
    Heres my black one tasted bloody good too

    It won't load my black trout will try later.........Good one Mullet

    Na mate,no polaroids,
    I just got really close,
    Half way thru the vid i touched his tail with my boot which made him swim off

    Cant load the pic of my black trout file is too big but its on the thread Fishing Adventures with Family.
    Its at about 2.23 or2.26 of the slideshow.

    How the hell would it feed if its blind? not saying its not blind but

    I dont think they do feed once they go blind,or not much
    Probably just starve,
    This one was thick in the body but not very deep,
    But dont worry,im pretty sure it got hit by a bus shortly after the video

    I see so blindness must have been a recent development not a birth defect or the like.

    Yea,i think so,but im just guessing

    Its probably sick or old causing blindness

    Trout colour themselves to suit their surroundings(camo)

    So, blind fish would turn black

    I guess they would...he looks like a big fish, what did he weigh?

    He would of only been 3-4lb
    But thats large for the river he was in
