The new type of self inflating jackets are good to wear and keep the sun off my neck, I think wearing a life jacket is important with kids aboard,means I can jump in and help if one goes overboard. We are now fully equipped, same when water skiing, wear a good bouyancy vest, cause a hit in the head will require help while I turn the boat!
