    Catch any fish over the long weekend?

    Had a great day out fishing snapper early this week at the top of SI. Lots bagged. Top catch a 12lb snapper. Not bad for a couple hours out

    Gave that up and went back to lures for a couple of good hauls and no dog fish.

    Back in the 70’s and 80’s my dad and I did lots of set lining in the sounds for snapper and
    8 times out of 10 got snapper and i don’t recall ever getting dog fish. Now practically every hook has one twisting everything into a huge mess. Set line got retired


    Ended up feeding a half bag of pillies to some monster rays hanging around the jetty- atleast we had a bit of fun with that
