About LinkBacksRe: Lake Rotoiti. We got a few more big fish. Quality of fish is amazing. Fat, slow and stuffed to the hilt with smelt. Streaks of fat running through the pink fillets like farmed salmon. I've said before that I'm not a fan of eating trout and neither was anyone in our party. We started off smoking it, then we cooked it as you would salmon and ended up eating it raw! What a top class fishery.
