    Yip the Tongariro is fishing well river mouths still pretty slow. Hooked 3 out of the same pool in 30min. This amateur fly fisherman managed to land one.

    Ended the day 50/50 four hooked two landed, cover a few miles , saw good number of fish nothing over 3 pound! Water clear but fish weren’t to spooky! Great day out in the sun!

    Yes they are damn effective, them Rapala and a few other bits and pieces were tried over the course of the day!
