Did you load the reel yourself?
I think if it's loaded too tightly, then the line has a tendency to 'spring' out once the tension comes off the lower wraps of line, i.e. when you cast.

To you and those two gents upstairs, I do `t know the cause, and the spool is not overfilled, yes I always load reel myself, but never see this before
