Damn that is 5 times what you get for taking a 222 into a prison without having a firearms license

It is always a problem while living down in Rotorua I witnessed an asian guy lose his kayak and gear for trolling within 200 meters of shore among anglers, exceeding the bag limit and undersized trout, back then it was $150 for a family license so my boy was always covered when he came to visit and the other half could fish aswell which is a high price we have to pay to fish for trout but is worth it with all of the work involved with the trout hatchery and releaseing fo trout to make sure there is enough for everyone. Bloody good job to that git for not just forking over $25 for a day license to fish but no they just want to break the rules.

Haha just round the corner from home...getting illegal trout in my chinese takeaway by the sound of it.

Creek is loaded though funny to see fish being hauled up in the middle of town.

It's great to see the backing of the Judicial Authorities in these cases. Makes your efforts worthwhile sometimes. Still can't believe the sod with an illegal firearm on Prison grounds, only getting his arse wiped with a pissy little fine. WTF is that

Ive had a licence every year since i could walk. Going to the shop to get the new licence for the season was always something i looked forward to as October got nearer. It was your ticket to the world. Seems not everybody sees them in the same light. I must admit though as i got older, price went up, free time for fishing went down which took the shine off it a bit but really its not a hige investment for a lot of hours entertaient if your willing to make the effort to get out there
