    White Island November 2017

Well the weather was crazy good, like oily calm from Friday to Sunday and I think it still is.

Not much words are needed for this one as the pictures do the talking. My new stick baiting set up is the shit, I spent over 8 hours on the end of it on Saturday and didn't want to put it down. Man seeing them bulldozing along the surface fighting each other for the bait is something to behold!!

The competition side wasn't too bad either. We took 2nd and 3rd heaviest and 3rd for measure and release

We kind of had too the kings were stealing the livies off our sibikis but none caught at night. Took us a while to figure out how to catch the bait even

There is a world famous (in NZ) maker of sabikis not very far from you. A friend who used to run a well known charter boat would often boat legal kingis on Uncles bait flies whilst catching livies for the punters .

There was a big boat with about 12 spearo's on it hoping from spot to spot, could hear them saying there was thousands of kingis down there
