    winch rope

    just noticed my synthetic winch rope has faded somewhat from black to grey, it seems in good nick otherwise with no obvious fraying, has anybody got an idea of when they should be replaced?

    If it is fading it is worth replacing. For the low cost they are you don't want to ruin a good day out on the water once at the boat ramp.
