Thread: Customs Question - My 1st time importing firearm parts

My question is when it arrives to customs what happens next.
1. How do they inform you that the items have arrived

They send a letter to the address listed on the package. If they have your email, they'll email it.

2. How do they get a copy of the import permit eg Do I post it, email it or turn up to customs

Post it. They legally require the original copy.

4. How do you then receive you item, eg do you have to pick it up in person or do they release the item to continue on their postal way

They release the item into the post.
