Thread: Swearing

Well, I personally think the answer is simple.

The thread titles should definitely be vetted, as this is the most public part of the forum viewed by everyone, hence the need.

The rest of the thread can show as its posted, and the Home page of the Forum shows a 'may contain offensive language' warning/disclaimer. That way, at least you've been warned.

Forums can be an emotional place, and to try and overcontrol language would be like grabbing a tiger by the tail, and end up causing too much pain and misery. I think controlling language in the thread titles is not unreasonable, but hey, this is only my 2cents worth.
