    hey Striker

what i have done is completely set up a new 'rifle' + new 'ammo' + new 'target' from scratch - manually entering only the necessary fields in case previous changes have somehow affected it. same result.

checking my 308 table there is a similar issue - sighted at 100y but the damned applied ballistics drop chart tells me 1.4in at 100y

if anyone knows the ins and outs of this app please shout - otherwise i might have to try another app

Using Shooting and plugging in your data, plus a 0.7 elevation correction I got EXACTLY your results.

Try running it thru JBM and see what you get.

    here are the full details.

the only info not showing clearly is the bullet BC of 0.392

i can't find any reference to 'scope 'true magnification' so just used 9x which is what i sighted in at - i have a zeiss conquest HD5 3-15x40 if it is scope specific

thanks for having a crack zimmer, i don't understand the 0.7 elevation correction, i can put in a correction on the AB app and sort it too, so any idea how this fixes the issue i have? unless i am understanding this wrong i just don't get why we would need to add a correction when i am zeroing it at 200y

    thanks for all the help!

Could be the difference between your powder temperature and your shooting temperature.

If you have your pressure set to absolute then your altitude needs to stay on zero.
