Hi all,

Hi all,

I'm using hornady 4DOF, seems pretty so far.
Applied Ballistics.................but it not free (worth the cost though)
Trust the dog.........................................ALWAYS Trust the dog!!
Hornady 4 dof has had some pretty extensive work and research put into it. After strelok, I’d use 4dof
Again for applied ballistics bullet drop is extremely basic but seems to be bang on
using Geo Ballistics, does the job well enough
Good, Fast, Cheap....choose any 2.
Knights armament “ bulletflite”
A big fast bullet beats a little fast bullet every time
I have used the whole lot ever since they have been coming out.
So take it or leave it applied ballistics is the most upto date best ballistic software on the market end of story.
I don't know much about fuckall but ballistic software I do.
It is the most expensive but it is also incredibly resourced .

My favorite sentences i like to hear are - I suppose so. and Send It!
+1 for 4DoF, unless you have a Garmin watch, in which case TruFlite - for the simple reason that it’s so much better having it in your wrist.
I use regularly balistic are . And I just got Chairgun elite which replaces strelock. It is a exactly the same with a few extra features.
I also have AB on the kestrel
Im running Truflite (no relation to the NZ barrel company) on an Epix 2 and I really like it. The only downloaded App Ive got on the watch. Agrees with other apps +/- 0.1 mRad. I believe it will adjust for the air pressure where you’re shooting and that is the biggest location variable (after wind of course). It can give an exact solution but having a drop table in steps of 10m on your wrist is just great. With only 5 buttons on a watch you cant do too much fancy on the spot of course.
My standard first reference in the field is a drop table taped to the butt.
Ive averaged typical altitude & temp and got minor adjustments in distance per click at 300 and 500m as well as adjustments for a 30 deg slope at those distances. You can set one of these up using a web site JBM if you dont want to install an app on your phone.

FYI for Android users you can download Strelok Pro for free from here since it's no longer available on the app store https://modyolo.com/strelok-pro.html
