    @gimp I'll put a link to info regarding Westport Club below. They are sort of in recess these days regarding NRA events but Kaituna Blenheim Club travel down each year to jointly host Nelson Rifle Champs. They have I think about 30 current members. Each has their own access key and can use the range on an ad hoc basis. i think each key-holder acts as range officer while using the range, much the same as how the Teetotal Range (100m) at St. Arnaud works. The range is camera monitored and I guess the locals keep a close eye on things.

    Likewise the Hawkes Bay club.

    My best guess is that Silver Mountain targets are run by two thirds of NRA clubs with the balance being Shot Marker which are increasing in number.

    We have used both Silver Mountain and Shotmarker.......we gave up on Silver Mountain due to costs and service/backup. They are Generation 1 and for sale if anyone wants them x 3.
    The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese....
