Finally got my 223 back after having Glacier make a stock for it , had a great weekend up North and bowled over a few Fallow . Looking forward to completing the accuracy challenge later this week, the elm’s have been waiting patiently for at least a fortnight. Bucketting down with rain around here today /tomorrow. Is anyone using any Belmont ammo in there 223’s?

Good. What projectiles did you use on them?
Restraint is the better part of dignity. Don't justify getting even. Do not do unto others as they do unto you if it will cause harm.

I’m just using the 50 round Sako 55 grain factory ammo. I’ve also got some of the 50 pack Fiocchi 55 grain too. Will be interesting to see how they all go when the weathers good next.

Finally got this done on Wednesday, quite breezy at Taupō range but I was keen to crack on.
    Scope set at 10 , 16 inch barrel .
    Sako 55 , Fiocchi 55, and ELD M 73 .
Didn’t bother to measure the Fiocchi , I’ll just stick with the Sako 55 .

Nothing wrong with your rifle or shooting, thats an excellent result with the Sako 55s. It will be intetesting to see the final results and see what can be learnt from them. Very good to have the group with its "favored " ammo as a comparison.

Did the challenge today sent photos to Foster upload ain't working for me . My micro bolt didn't like them at all just sprayed and actually tumbled what wasn't expecting that . Was ten inches out from my reload zero and no grouping at all just sprayed all over

Yup Id say NRTs rifle is a 1:12 twist, all the 73s were going sideways, nevermind, when we get to testing 55s he can have another go and I bet thd Browning wont disapoint!

Not factory ammo but 73gr ELD-M reloads, 18" Tikka T3 lite.
I think I'd have shot a tighter group if I had more magnification (12x) amd shot a bit slower (shot over 2 or 3 mins) but didn't have time to mess about.
Was first 10 shots from cold, not sure why they grouped so high as subsequent shots (after barrel cooled) were zeroed ok.
