    First time shooting a 50bmg

A few mates went to a private range today fuk there were some nice toys. There was a steyr 50 cal there and I was offered a few shots. First impressions were fuk this things going to fuk my already fuked shoulders, it had a massive brake on it. It wasnt actually too bad to shoot....

Just as well you are used to holding on with both hands Phil otherwise that thing might throw you.
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.

I can tell you Rushy it was bloody heavy for little Phils arms, my big gun shooting days are well over now with my destroyed collarbone.

Genuine pic, was a Gunworks suppressor that the late great Robbie made, was one of Greg's set ups, have you still got that Can @Kiwi Greg ?

We need to put that pic into perspective for people that haven't meet phil....my 50 cal had a 16 inch barrel and it was still longer than Phil.
So for scale here is my 50 on a ford ranger tailgate so most can now appreciate how short phil is

Was watching a program on Sky while back called "High Speed Chase" Ep 1 of season 1, American police footage ( typically long winded Discovery channel type stuff ) had a guy that went rouge in his 18 wheeler, Mr coper blew out the engine block with a 50 cal, luckily & for some unknown reason he missed first shot but the fulla turned around n then got smakko'd

BTY - Body cam is actually quite a good watch, what some of those guys deal with is insane
