If you shoot groups like @Pommy then a 3 shot group is going to give you very close to the same info as a 10 shot group.
The point is though, you don't know your 10 shot group or cone of fire is so tight until you do it.

    No 3 shot or 10 shot groups here.Name: 20250726_141007.jpg

Size: 1.11 MB 1st coldbore shot. Then 5 by me to the right. Then 1 by my mate through same 5 shot group. So this is a 7 shot group. Adjusted 2 clicks left and 4 down for 100 yard zero. Never check it after. Then last weekend my daughter shot this 10 shots at 800 yards. Not bad for 7 shot group zeroName: Screenshot_20251228_132410_Chrome.jpg

I've followed the various threads on this 'accuracy' theme and whether you should use 3,5,10 or whatever shot groups and all I can say is if you have a system that works for you and gets you satisfactory results out to your predetermined maximum range then go with it. Stick to your guns and go with it. Equally, if you see merit in trying different processes then give it a a go. Maybe there will be improvement, maybe not. Old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Also, don't waste ammo on putting holes in paper if you are already getting good results, it's a waste of time and money. I say that even though I've been range shooting most Saturday afternoons during the season lately, good for shits and giggles.
Anyway, happy New Year to all on this forum and may the hunting gods be with you on your endeavours in the future.
