A bad / cheating relationship can put us off rooting for a while, a car crash can make us windy about driving. I dont know the answer to your situation MD (or the others) as it is a symptom of a bigger issue FEAR. How to overcome the fear of the same happening again. I do know time heals and all that but it would be nice to have some tools and methods to speed the process

I recommend this book. Recently published. Ive bought 2 copies now and given both away (after reading it myself).

Does the book give us the tools to deal and recover from traumatic situations or does it just examine / explore what goes on ??

@Moa Hunter its chocker with tools and interventions as well as dipping into the theory. Includes illustrations and cartoons.
