Go join the NZ Deerstalkers they have proper target shoots but hardly any one attends the matches, years ago when I started we use to have 3 or 4 details at the monthly
matches now lucky if there are a handful of shooters turn up, no wonder guns are not P.C if no one shoots at organized matches how can there be any positive coverage
in the media, Check out Switzerland the sports news starts with the shooting results unless Federer has won a tournament, Norway has good TV coverage of shooting matches
so does Sweden and Denmark, friends have in shot 300 metre matches in Germany where the first prize was a Mercedes-Benz, so get out there and compete grow the sport
there are professional shooters making a living in Europe no reason why Kiwi's can't be doing it.
