Ive got two of them...they dont agree on where zero should be....and if mounts are crooked they will be well off,eg 22-250 is 6"left and 2" high according to bore sighter...got me on the paper all the same.

If you’re trying to use that wicker basket and shooting from that height that will be half your problem. Too wobbly. Shoot prone over a solid rest like a big sandbag or heavy daypack.

Second, not many people will be able to go straight to hitting a target at 180m with a new rifle first day they use it. Needs a bit of “paper work” not just gongs.

Another thing to take into consideration is what brand of ammo your using. Different brands go differently in different rifles. There can be quite a substantial POI change. Ask the guy you got it from what type of factory ammo it runs best with. This will save you from having to get heaps of different packets of ammo to experiment with.

thanks mate, yeah it was all a bit rushed n excited for the first time i could use it but was fun. im making a bench n the old man wants to make a mound to lay prone. iv got a couple of sand bags n the corflute will help for sighting as well. looking forward to the next outing

thanks mate, yeah iv got his info on that. i hope to make my own one day. in the mean time i will try a few dif boxes n see if any look good. i did have a good read on a forum on loading thats convinced me its the way to go. one day

yeah mate cheers she is def fun. once im set up better it will be even better. was a rushed shot that i did. as for ammo, was just the cheapest guncity had. Fiocchi PerFecta: 147 Grain. just to get me started n sighted in. but yeah seems loadings the best way if i want accuarcy but these will do for now. one im setup better i will work out which ammo suit her best in the mean time at least

Dunno if that's the same as a collimator but if you did what Zimmer managed then pulled the trigger, it'd probably empty your colon
