About LinkBacksMetal fatigue related? Caused a crack that propagated with continued use until the catastrophic failure. Was it new or had it done much shooting?
A circumferential crack would not be created by internal pressure... I assume you didn't hang something heavy off the end of the barrel for a couple of thousand rounds?
Off centre bore is a pure manufacturing issue. Almost all the causes I can think of are a manufacturing or material defect...
