Rotorua long range field shoot is finished for another year. We threw more than a few challenges at competitors this year - loophole stage, a couple of kneeling and sitting shots, the infamous camo net stage, a "know your limits" stage, etc... and all the competitors had to finish the shoot by firing a 5 shot group on their own paper target (245m).

The infamous camo net stage bloody net got caught up on everything - the barrel your scope the bolt, bipods, your hat, fingers - And that was just trying to get under it! The first target was through a pine tree and once you got that one there was still two more targets to go! A competitor mentioned that no-one liked the camo net stage... but they are unlikely to forget it either! I am amazed the net was still there at the end of the day

I will be at this next year for sure ill mark it on the calendar now.l will make sure that bloody camo net dosnt survive next years biathalon shoot
