    Was brilliant to watch
It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms

About that time of year again - this years Rotorua Long Range Field shoot is coming up again. We are increasing the round count this year and also increasing the amount of non-prone shooting.

I have been noticing a few people who are comfortable shooting off their bipod but not so much when they can't use it. Might have to have a "no bipod" stage...

We were thinking to do away with the limited shots per target and just limit the time allowed. Just score based on shots fired until the target is hit once. Might have to try that out at a shoot some time.
