Ruger 77 .223 MAE Full over barrel hard to remove

Does anyone on here have a Ruger 77 .223 MAE Full over barrel rifle? I just purchased it and I'm trying to get the suppressor off. Could someone please confirm that I'm twisting it the correct way? MAE said it should be a right hand thread. Is the picture correct then? Pic not actua gun just example of way to twist Thanks

Looks OK to me - clockwise from pics viewpoint behind (Behring) rifle.
Most likely carbon has gotten into threads and jammed the suppressor on.
    Lazy previous owner methinks.

Take to MAE, they are bloody great for after sales service, even if you weren't the original purchaser. Found that out just recently. They are in East Tamaki.

Have seen it before that they get quite tight if not cleaned.

LOL yeah the guys at MAE said to bring it in but I believe they are now in Whitianga Just wanted to save the hassle of sending it down and wanted to fire this weekend. Looks like it wont be happening. Yeah gun is in really good nic but it seems the previous owner either didn't know it came off or was extremely lazy. Gunna give it one last crack after dinner! Cheers for the advice guys.

Is that a recent thing? My dealings with them were only a couple of months ago.
