What is a light rifle nowadays? How much do these K95's weigh all up with a "normal" weight scope?

That doesn't leave much, M14s are heavy...

Those scopes are not that light either, so a K95 with a little scope might go 7lb possibly...interesting.

I’ve got two K95, both a bit over six lbs, 6,2 oz on one, 6, 6 oz on the other, Blaser mounts are heavy, 4-5oz for quick release,
Lightest set up I have is the 7x65 with a Leopold, 1x4 just over 7.
    Nicely balanced and carries well.
The 22 Hornet barrel has more steel, that 6.5 creed or 7x65, and is heavier. That will change when I fit suppressor.
Often thought a red dot might be good in the bush.
Have a Kimber 260 here that is 5,2oz scoped, very difficult rifle to shoot consistently.

Yes, lighter rifles are harder to shoot well off the bench, but better offhand shooting - if they have a good trigger
