    Shooting in gusting wind

Just a short video to show my prefered method for shooting in gusting wind.

I click for the main wind and hold as required during the gusts. I don't wait for perfect winds, I shoot when the target is presented.

Some people advocate just holding off for wind alltogether, but for me that doesn't work. I sometimes have the opportunity for take two or three shots, and combining wind holdoff + moving target lead is... meeh, unable. Besides, you really shouldn't mess with the automated response a perfect sight picture gives.

I know you have been asked this before Norway...but how much load/pressure do you put on the bipod.
I tend to get carried away and bend bipod bases.
    Hugely influenced by your video's...Chris

Another informative video Norway. Can you tell me where you got that card that explains the causes of shooting different groups (1:40min into video)? I would love to get my hands on one.

Actually, I made that Bryan. Engraved. Have no english versions left, but Vertebrae stocks them.
Fisherman, I push the bipod at least till it stops/ gets traction on the ground which means it can be just touching on a hard surface and fairly hard on a soft surface.

Thanks Norway, found it on their website. Very clever little reference card, would be good to have in my range bag.
