    I know someone with a 308 who did this. Trajectory says that at 25 and 200 yards the bullet goes through zero and is 2 3/4 in high at 100.
    He was happy if he shot 1 inch at 25 yards and called it good.
    It wasn't.
    First there is parallax to deal with, which moves your sight picture around then 1 inch at 25 is 4 inches at 100 and 8 at 200.
    He missed a lot.
