    @dannyb is spot on.
    I've threaded all my own barrels, the 7mm-08 had a 18mm barrel so I went with M14x1. For and for my .22 rimfires I used the more old fashioned 1/2*20UNF as they only had 15mm barrels and the smaller thread allows for a larger shoulder for the suppressor to butt up against.
