Shows the importance of a good crown as well to get even dispersion of the gas as it escapes behind the projectile
Yeah, the gases are traveling considerably faster than the projectile in those first few inches after leaving the barrel, there would seem to be plenty of room for an adverse effect on the base of the bullet. Interesting stuff!
