I do not want to invest in the wrong caliber.

6.5 creedmore is essentially purpose designed as a target/precision cartridge. It would be an excellent choice

    Fixed it for you

The 6.5x47 Lapua would be my choice in 6.5, in 6mm it would be the 6 Dasher

The lack of recoil & barrel wear makes up for their ballistic disadvantage to the big sevens & thirties in all but the worst conditions
Contact me for reloading components, brass, projectiles, powder, primers, etc

Haha, yeah neat cartridge. Pitty about the factory ammo situation though.

I shot a 6 brx in the states. The 6mm offerings are pretty awesome. Zero recoil on heavy precision rifles

I shot a 6mmBR and a 6.5x55 both with 30" True Flite ultra match barrels no factory ammo for the 6mmBR but then you need to reload to do any good
Lapua 6.5x55 is good enough to start with you can better it with reloading,
If you go with the 6.5 Creedmoor with 140 and heavier projectiles you will not get anywhere near 3200fps my 6.5x55 was doing 2920fps with 139 Lapua
even the 6.5x284 guys had to back them off to 3100fps to get accurate loads barrel life is short with the 284 case normal load is around 55 grains
in the 6.5x55 my load was 46.6 grains barrel is still good after 2500 rounds the 6.5x284 last 1000 if you are lucky
If I was to get back in to F class Would be looking at the Creedmoor
