    Another newbie.

    Hello Everybody.

My name is Nik. I am 44 years young and have decided to get into big game hunting. I have for the past 2 years been duck shooting and thoroughly enjoyed it. I have been rabbit shooting on a Farmers property for the past 5 years; still I need more. I want to stalk large game.
I grew up in Otago where I learnt to fish and pop off a few bunnies along the way and now live in Christchurch. If anyone can suggest good areas to stalk/hunt large game the tips would be much appreciated. Any suggestions on reading materials would not go a miss either. I will eventually join the Hand-loaders Association and learn to load my own rounds.
Look forward to posting my first big game hunt soonish!

    Take care everyone.

    Mace.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
