About LinkBacksMy name is Josh and I live in Hamilton, NZ and am pushing the grand old age of 32...
I've been involved with firearms one way or another for most of my life but just recently applied for my firearm license which I am awaiting final checks for (10 months and counting). I have a rifle lined up and a bit of gear and hoping to make a trip in the next few months for a proper hunt but trying to contain my excitement at the prospect as the licensing is taking a lot longer than expected.
Love the forum, it's such a wealth of information and I've already learned a heap. I can tell there is a ton of good buggers on here. Especially like checking out the deals on the buy and sell, jokes, home builds / smithing, equipment and hunting threads. Bought some things and felt very comfortable making payment and have recieved goods in good nick. Not many places like this on the internet that's for sure.
I'm not much of a contributor so can't promise you'll see me around, (especially since I don't know shit) but just wanted to say hey.

It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
Rule 5: Check your firing zone
Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
