Thread: Hi from CHB

G'day Lazza, welcome to the forum, its certainly pretty easy for life and kids to make it hard to get out at times, Im 51 with two kids 11 and 9, and they are always busy with multiple sports and activities, I ended up doing a 6-month stretch last year where I simply struggled to get the time to get out after a deer for about 6 months, which i found bloody hard, and hard on the fitness and leg condition too. I did still manage to get out for a couple of hours of an evening once every couple of weeks to do some pest control shooting, rabbits in orchards etc, which I also enjoy.

But Im back into the deer again this year so far and it's been great.

Do you mostly hunt the public land of the Ruahines close to you, or private land? I'm Napier based and get down the Ruahines a fair bit around CHB.
