    Kia ora team
    I'm Luke, a school teacher from Napier. I've taken up hunting in the last couple of years after moving to Napier. Prior to that I spent about 20 years fly fishing around Canterbury.

    I've a couple of teens, one who mostly enjoys coming out for a hunt, and the other who enjoys tramping and fishing. My 14 year old and I have recently started doing a trapline for the Save our Kaweka Kiwi trust. Cheers 🍻

    Welcome Luke. Not a great year to start in the Bay but it can only get better. Most local fly fishing has been taken off the cards and a lot of Kaweka access has been limited. Sing out if you need some local pointers. Good job doing the trap lines too. Which school are you at?

    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
    Rule 7: Avoid alcohol and drugs when handling firearms
