Im Mikey from Nelson
Ive been lurking around on here for over a year now while my licence processed and then finally arrived today!
Ive hunted with mates over the years and decided with the abundance of wild game in the area i needed to get my arse into gear and start filling my freezer.
Ill be picking the brain of you all to work out how to do things best when it comes to hunting and shooting

What flavor am i going for?? Im going to go brand new as i want something i know the history of and am a big fan of warrantys. Im in the $1800 all in price range so narrowed down to the Franchi Horizon or Ruger American Predator.

well thats interesting......the history of a rifle is a funny thing,some of us value the history a rifle may have had...there are quite a few .30/06 BSA OR PARKER HALE and even the odd winchester pop up for sale.... and folks on here will tell you a lot of the so called warrantees are not worth the paper they printed on.... solid and reliable is just that,solid and reliable.....Quote:
