My name is Len (or Lenny) and my son reckons I'm a bit mental, so he nicknamed me Lentil - so nothing to do with the bland vegetable. When I'm a few years older, I may resemble the vegetable, so there will be no need to change!!

its my name, easy to remember.

Nah real reason is I work with a lot of other guys/contractors also called Mike so I use Mikee

Makes it bloody confusing for the missus though when She comes fishing with 3 other Mikes + me in the same boat
All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.

Ok history lesson on the great life of Toby.

If my memory still serves me well there was a tv character called Coby and my mum liked that name but was playing with other letters and got my name that way. My dad wanted to call me Herbert, after someone (I think great grandfather)

Thanks mum for sticking to your guns haha
