    Newbie from SI (south canty)

    Hi all

    So a bit of a long time lerker but a newbie to posting etc....

    Have enjoyed the advice, piss taking and general banter here - and thought i might try and get involved a bit more.

    Have done a bit of shooting around the place, but mainly targets and stuff. Enjoy the trying of new things and the general fun of of 'just shooting shit'. Would like to get into more of having more of a crack at animals in the near future.

    Currently shoot IPSC and really enjoy pistol shooting. Starting to get into mid- long range as well. And the lego/rattle guns.....AND also been bitten by the reloading bug......

    Welcome mate... you'll get a few people confused, as there is another Beaker on the Fishnhunt forum who shoots a 6.5x55 as well!

    Welcome Beaker. I am surprised that Gibo didn't ask if you worked in a science lab but clearly he knew that you have a job polishing the lips of Parrots at the local pet store.
    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire
    Rule 4: Identify your target beyond all doubt
    Rule 5: Check your firing zone
    Rule 6: Store firearms and ammunition safely
